ALS Association
ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. There is no cure for ALS yet.
Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. They govern voluntary movements and muscle control. ALS causes these motor neurons to degenerate over time until they eventually die. When the motor neurons die, the brain can no longer initiate and control muscle movement. When voluntary muscle action is progressively affected, people may lose the ability to speak, eat, move and breathe.
Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
More than 64,000 Americans will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year.
PanCAN's vision is to create a world in which all patients with pancreatic cancer will thrive.
Our mission is to take bold action to improve the lives of everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer by advancing scientific research, building community, sharing knowledge, and advocating for patients.
PanCAN was the first organization dedicated to fighting pancreatic cancer in a comprehensive way, and for more than two decades, we’ve grown a nationwide movement tackling the disease from all angles.
Pediatric Cancer
WHO WE ARE: Our journey began in September of 2013 when Stefan was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma at just 18 years old. His amazing strength and determination to fight this disease rapidly had a community (or village as we like to be called) showering him with love, support, and most importantly hope. It was this incredible outpouring that brought this Foundation together. In the years since his diagnosis, it has become our mission to share the spirit of hope that we possess with other children facing their own battles with cancer. We strive to assist them and their families emotionally as well as financially in this difficult time.
Green Vision, Inc.
Green Vision believes that through vocational training and continued education, participants with developmental disabilities can maximize independence and enhance essential skills.
Tim Butler, Owner & CEO
I started in the field back in 1999, teaching people with severe developmental disabilities in a school setting. Being in a special needs classroom made me realize the need for more vocational and daily skills training, so I decided to create “Tim’s Tool Time,” which focused on those skills. The in-school program was started in 2005 and after getting frustrated watching kids graduate and have nowhere to go after graduation, I decided to venture out and open Green Vision Inc. in 2010. This is definitely not an easy job, but seeing “the guys” improve their quality of life has greatly enhanced my life, so I couldn’t be happier with my decision to start this company.
